Kulwant Kaur is a writer, composer, singer born in India. She has been writing various songs (religious, entertaining etc.),  poems,  since 1990.

Kulwant Kaur’s second book was entitled Kiven sahan sal ve. It was a compilation of songs and poems. It was released on 07 December 2009 at Jalandhar.
Her first book BIRHAN de Sal (Pain of separation) was as well a compilation of songs and poems.

She is not only an artist but also a social worker.

Back in India, she used to be the chief mahila wing of a local association called SAHYOG which organises eye camps for the people who can’t afford medical treatment on their own and arranges marriages of orphan girls.

She is also the coordinator of ABRS FRANCE, an association founded by Late Dr. Didi Nirmala Deshpandey in India. This association vehicles the message of peace and brotherhood throughout the globe. In July 2006, she was awarded with Gandhi Medal by Mr. S.P Varma, the General Secretary of ABRS.

Currently she is playing an active role in an association in Paris called “Punjabi Sahit Sabah”, which tries to join people with their cultural roots. She is also an active contributor of poems, articles, songs to different punjabi websites, which deal with latest news and punjabi litterature.
